If you are looking for an easy stroll or a nice picnic you should check out Bandera City Park. You can set up a blanket by the Medina River and have a picnic. Don't have a blanket, no worries they also have picnic Pavilions all you need to do is bring the food. If you're a little adventurous or just looking to see some talent you can check out their skate park.

Looking to get out in nature and just explore the beautiful things Bandera has to offer? Visit Hill Country State Natural Area where you can enjoy 50,000 square feet of natural beauty. Explore the canyons, scenic plateaus, and tranquil creek bottoms. Entrance fee for adults is $6 while kids enter for free.

Frontier Times Museum

If history is something you are looking for, check out the Frontier Times Museum which was established in 1933. Be sure to stroll through the "Heroes Hall of Fame" section. On your journey be sure to take a close look at the building itself, as the walls contain a collection of fossils, petrified wood, and arrowheads.
